About The Course

Facilitating Career Development (FCD) is 120 hours of course work focused on the skills and knowledge necessary to help others plan careers and obtain meaningful work. The FCD course combines online and face-to-face learning and uses the National Career Development Association’s (NCDA) curriculum, which is designed to standardize the knowledge and experience of individuals working in career development.

**This course requires that all students meet for 3 face-2-face dates. Course dates are listed below with face-2-face dates highlighted.

• January 17 - 18; and Graduation May 7 
• April 3 - 4; and Graduation August 1 
Fast Track June 20 - 21; and Graduation July 31 
• August 27 - 28; and Graduation December 10

Registration and Payment Information

Register Online for the Facilitating Career Development program. Online registration is required at (see the FCD Booklet linked above for complete details and instructions.)

Cost of Course: $750; Special discounted rate of $575 for staff and partners of the NC Workforce Development (NCWorks) System. Registration fee covers tuition and student manual. Students are responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses. Full payment is required three weeks prior to the first day of class.
